Amritsar: Car taken away at gun point from youth
Three unidentified persons robbed a car from a youth near the Deputy Commissioner’s residence late on Sunday evening. The incident was captured by CCTV cameras.
The accused left their bike at the spot and fled away in the car.
The victim has been identified as Udaybir Singh, who was returning home after meeting his friend at around 9 pm.
According to ADCP Lakbir Singh, Udaybir is a son of cloth trader Tej Parkash Singh of Prakash Chand road here. He was returning home when the accused started chasing him.
They took out a pistol and asked him to come out of the car and threatened to shoot him if he did not, the officer added.
