Amritsar: Part Of Elevated Road Collapsed, Many People Feared Trapped Destruction by Incessant heavy rains does not seem to be stopping in Amritsar. On Monday night, around 9 o'clock the slab fell under an elevated bridge building. Fortunately, the people passing by were not harmed. It is also suspected that some of the workers who work on the bridge may be buried under debris. Passer-by, Harpreet Singh said that he was going through this route and the debris had fallen on his car, but his daughter and driver were completely safe. Jagjit Singh Walia said that during the construction work, the information about the fall of 6 workers was reported. Those workers were admitted to the Guru Nanak Dev Hospital for treatment.
