Andhra Class 2 Girl Allegedly Raped By Headmaster, Went Home Bleeding
A student of class two was allegedly raped by her headmaster in her school on Tuesday in Andhra Pradesh. A 42-year-old headmaster of a government upper primary school in Krishna district, 295 km from Hyderabad was arrested by the police on Thursday.

According to the media reports, the headmaster allegedly took the eight-year-old girl to an empty room and raped her. The girl went to her home crying with injuries and blood on her clothes. When she reached home, she narrated the ordeal to her mother. She even complained of pain and was bleeding. Following which her mother rushed her to a private hospital. The doctors revealed that she has been sexually assaulted.

The girl received four stitches to stop the bleeding. The parents of the family feared repercussions and therefore, decided not to report the incident. The social activists came to know about the rape. They convinced the mother of the victim to lodge a complaint on Thursday. Acting on the complaint the police arrested the accused.

According to the media reports, Andhra Pradesh’s Human Resources Development Minister, Ganta Srinivas ordered the school commissioner to suspend the headmaster.
