Army Officer writes to Sonu Sood for help with Covid facility equipment
As the outbreak of coronavirus affected health infrastructure in India, an Army officer has sought help from Sonu Sood, also known as messiah, in procuring equipment for a Covid-19 facility.
A Commanding Officer of an infantry battalion stationed in Jaisalmer wrote a letter to Bollywood star Sonu Sood. He requested help in procuring equipment for a Covid-19 facility.

The incident has gone viral on social media that resulted in senior brass of the Indian Army frowning at the act. In a letter, dated May 13, the Commanding Officer of the battalion apprised Sonu Sood that the Army was setting up a 200-bed Covid care centre facility at the Jaisalmer military station.

Sood has been at the forefront of helping people in the coronavirus pandemic in India.
As per the report, a senior officer in Army HQs, New Delhi, confirmed that the letter was written to Sood but it appeared to have been written in “over-enthusiasm”.
Sonu Sood has been arranging oxygen concentrators and other equipment for Covid patients as India is fighting the second wave of coronavirus.
Even as the Bollywood star regularly communicates with netizens on Twitter and other platforms seeking oxygen and other necessities.
