Kolkata’s Alipore Court on Monday has issued an arrest warrant against India pacer Mohammed Shami, who is currently on a tour of West Indies. The warrant has been issued in connection with domestic violence filed by his wife Hasin Jahan, reported Indian Express. The additional chief judicial magistrate Subrata Mukherjee has issued a warrant against Mohammed Shami, in a case filed by Hasin Jahan against him and his brother. https://www.instagram.com/p/B15Vk-1A6E_/ Meanwhile, the Kolkata’s Alipore court has given 15 days to Shami to surrender. The court has issued the warrant under sections 498A of the Indian Penal Code (husband or relative of husband of a woman subjecting her to cruelty) and 406 (criminal breach of trust). However, Shami's lawyer Salim Rahaman said that it is our victory as the charges against Shami's parents and sister has been dropped. Also, he said, "the three allegations of rape (by Shami's elder brother), attempt to murder and assault were dropped from the case.
