Arun Jaitley to be back to present Budget on February 1 Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, who is currently undergoing treatment in the US, will return to India on January 25 to present the interim budget on February 1, government sources told on Monday. According to government sources the Finance Minister will return on January 25 evening. He had gone undergone a renal transplant surgery in May last year. There were some speculations that he may not return to present the budget. This budget will be his last before the general elections this year.
