But the Koreams came back strongly in the last five minutes, scoring twice through Jung Manjae in the 56th and 60th minute to convert a probable defeat into a splendid win. Poland, after losing both its earlier games, started on a cautious note. Quickly settling down against fast moving Koreans, the Poles drew the first blood in the 28th minute when Joseph Hillyer surprised the Korean defence with an opportunist goal. In the 40th minute Lee Namyong, who scored tournament's first hat trick on the opening day, got the equaliser with a brilliant field goal.Ten minutes later Jospeh Kurowski, however, had the Korean defence tied into a knot with a fine goal to put Poland ahead.
