Punjab chief minister Prakash Singh Badal warns against conspiracies to push Punjab back towards dark days of violence and bloodshed. Peace earned through unparalleled sacrifices must be preserved at all cost, said Badal. Badal reiterated that he wants people's cooperation to resolve all issues through consensus and cooperation. Punjabis and Sikhs image as sword arm of the country must not be tarnished he added. CM says there is a strong need to defeat conspiracies to paint Punjabis and Sikhs as terrorists and anti-national people. Badal highlights the role of Sikhs in the defence of the country. He said that Punjabis have a proud patriotic legacy and no one should be allowed to distort that. Badal was speaking a state level function of 100th martyrdom day of Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha.
