BCI says the split "laid to rest" between CJI and four Judges

BCI says the split "laid to rest" between CJI and four Judges : The Bar Council of India said that the split between the Chief Justice of India and four senior Supreme Court Judges has been "laid to rest". Manan Kumar Mishra, Chairman, Bar Council of India said that the matter was resolved after a meeting with the Judges held in the chamber of  Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra on Monday morning.BCI says the split  Talking to the media, Mishra said, "It was an internal matter and has now been resolved. The issue has been laid to rest and all courts rooms in the apex court are functioning normally." He further said that the council wanted no intervention of any political party to take advantage of the split between the judges and CJI."We did not want any political party to take advantage of the situation. Everyone is discharging their duties and everything has been resolved as the Attorney General has also said," he added. Mishra had said earlier that the matter would be resolved as soon as possible. It was ascertained by CJI Dipak Misra and other judges. BCI says the split  BCI says the split  "We have met the CJI in a friendly atmosphere and everything will be sorted out. All the judges present there have assured us that matter will be sorted soon," he said. The noticeable crisis got highlighted on the public platform when the top four judges of the apex court, Justices Jasti Chelameswar, Ranjan Gogoi, Madan B Lokur and Kurian Joseph, on Friday held a press conference on Friday alleging that the CJI had been violating the conventions in his role as the master of the roster. - PTC News
