Be Winter Ready! IMD predicts cold conditions in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Chandigarh
IMD weather report: Giving weather forecast for Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and others, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday predicted cold wave conditions in the next 24 hours.
The IMD, while giving a weather forecast for Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and other states, stated that "Cold wave conditions very likely in isolated pockets over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh and north Rajasthan during the next 4 days."

Also, severe cold wave conditions likely in isolated pockets over Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi, north Rajasthan and West Uttar Pradesh on December 18 and 19.
The dense fog in isolated pockets very likely over Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, North Rajasthan, Bihar and Haryana during night/morning on December 16, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) stated giving weather report.

"Under the influence of an easterly wave, scattered to fairly widespread rain/thundershowers very likely over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal, Kerala and Mahe and Lakshadweep area during December 16-19," the Indian Meteorological Department stated.
It also said that "Isolated heavy falls also very likely over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal during December 16-18 and over Kerala and Mahe during December 17-18.
On Monday, the IMD has said that “No significant change in minimum temperatures over most parts of Central and East India during next 2-3 days and fall by 2-4°C thereafter.”
