Bihar Cinema halls cancel bookings of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat : After getting a green signal from the Central Board of Film Certification and Supreme Court striking down ban on Padmaavat imposed by the states of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh, Padmaavat still seems to be in trouble. Shree Rajput Karni Sena is now forcing cinema halls in Bihar to stop its advance bookings, as per reports from news agency IANS. In Patna, online bookings for the movie were stopped following protest and threat by Karni Sena's activists. Bihar Cinema halls cancel bookings of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat An official of district administration it said, "Fear of Karni Sena is such that Cinepolis has not only stopped online booking of Padmaavat, it cancelled 50 bookings after a group of Karni Sena activists protested and threatened the staff members," While cinema owners in Gaya district, Bhagalpur and Purnea districts have decided not to show Padmaavat fearing violence by Karni Sena supporters. Last week, some activists attacked a cinema hall in Muzaffarpur district, tore posters of Padmaavat and threatened to set ablaze the hall if the film was screened, police said. The police is yet to take a strong action against those who indulged in vandalism. The JD(U)-BJP government, led by CM Nitish Kumar, is yet to take a decision on the film's screening in the state. -PTC News
