BJP will win more than 200 seats in West Bengal: Amit Shah
Assam, West Bengal Assembly Elections 2021: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday thanked the voters of Assam and West Bengal and said that BJP party would win in both the states. He said that the high voter turnout show enthusiasm in people.
The first phase of voting for Assembly Elections 2021 in West Bengal and Assam concluded on Saturday.

Amit Shah also said that over 84 percent turnout in West Bengal proved that people of the state want change.
He further said that both the states were known for political violence. This time no one died during polling in the first phase. He also thanked the Election Commission for the successful completion of phase 1 of Assembly polls.

Shah also said that he wanted to thank the women of West Bengal for polling in favour of BJP. "BJP will form government in West Bengal with more than 200 seats," he said.
"I can say out of 30 seats in West Bengal we will win more than 26 seats and in Assam we will win more than 37 seats out of 47 seats in Assam," he added.
On reports of his meeting with NCP leader Sharad Pawar in Ahmedabad, he said everything can't be made public.
On Kerala government ordering judicial inquiry against a central agency probing Kerala gold smuggling scam, he said that "What else can they (Kerala govt) do for face saving? This is their natural reaction."
