Black Buck Poaching Case: Salman Khan acquitted of fake affidavit charges

In a major relief for Salman Khan, Jodhpur Court has acquitted the charges of submitting a fake affidavit in Black buck Poaching case 1998, here on Monday. As per reports, it was written in the affidavit that Salman Khan lost the license of his weapons, though the license was sent for the renewal. Likewise, Salman Khan's counsel argued that there were no intentions to submit false documents. Afterward, Salman Khan acquitted from the fake affidavit charges against him. Salman Khan was accused of killing two black bucks in Jodhpur during the shoot of the film, Hum Saath Saath Hain 1998. Also, the court acquitted co-actors Saif Ali Khan, Neelam, Tabu and Sonali due to lack of evidence, back then. Salman Khan was convicted and handed over the five year imprisonment, to which he was granted the bail after spending two nights in Jodhpur Central Jail. Reportedly, the actors were in a vehicle which was driven by Salman Khan himself and rammed into the group of black bucks. The incident took the lives of two black bucks. Later in January 2017, Salman Khan pleaded not guilty and had said in a statement, that only the forensic report of Dr Nepalia is true which says the animal died of natural causes.
