The body of 7-Year-Old Girl found On the Roof Of Mosque in a bag
The body of a 7-year-old girl was found in a sack on the roof of a Mosque in Ghaziabad on Sunday.
The girl reportedly went missing from her house on Saturday around 1 pm. The family of the girl tried to find the girl but was unable to find her. After which, they lodged a complaint at Murad Nagar police station.
The sack, in which the girl’s body was stuffed, was spotted on the roof of the mosque by a man named Suleman. He went to the roof around 6:30 after offering prayers. He saw the sack and opened it. He saw the girl’s body inside it and immediately informed the family of the girl and neighbors.
Police also reached the spot as soon as they received the information.
Police investigated the body and the spot. They came to a conclusion that the girl was strangled to death. The girl’s body was sent for autopsy.
The child’s father accused the local councilor, Azaaz Baig, for killing his daughter. He told the police that there was a political rivalry going on between them. The girl’s maternal uncle was contested against the Azaaz Baig in the civic body elections.
An FIR has been filed against Azaaz Baig and police has started their investigations.
