Bollywood actor Sunny Deol joins BJP
Bollywood actor Sunny Deol joined Bhartiya Janata Party in Delhi on Tuesday. This decision came two days after his meeting with BJP President Amit Shah. He was welcomed in the party by Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Railway Minister Piyush Goyal.

Amit Shah met Sunny Deol on April 19 at Pune Airport. The meet gave rise to the speculations of his entry into politics. The BJP has formed an alliance with the Shiromani Akali Dal in the state. It is fighting from three parliamentary seats from Amritsar, Gurdaspur and Hoshiarpur.
