Bomb threat alert hoax on Singapore Airlines flight from Mumbai A Mumbai- Singapore bound Singapore Airlines aircraft landed safely at the Changi International Airport on Tuesday after pilot raised a bomb threat alert. The bomb threat later turned out to be a hoax. All 263 passengers were reported safe. Soon after the takeoff, the airline received a call claiming that there was a bomb on the plane.  After receiving a call the pilot of the airlines raised a bomb threat alert. Following which the pilot made an emergency landing at around 8 am. The Singapore Air Force safely escorted the airline to Changi Airport. All 263 passengers on board were taken out safely. They all had to undergo a security check before they could leave. During the preliminary investigation, police has arrested a woman and a child for the next round of investigation. The aircraft arrived in Singapore on 26 March 2019 at about 0800hrs (local time). There were 263 passengers on board.
