The fire broke out on the ground floor and soon engulfed the first floor into it.
There were nearly 40-50 guests present at the time of the incident. They were there to attend the mehndi ceremony, which was just about to start. When the fire broke out and reached the first floor, a few of those guests jumped from the first floor to save their lives. The victims were identified as Sana, the bride (24), Hina (14), Hafaz (20), Manahil (25) and Nayna (22).
