New Delhi, February 22: When Rhiannon Harries came to India for work four years ago, hardly did the British diplomat know she would fall in love here only. She is Britain’s Deputy Trade Commissioner (South Asia) and works in New Delhi. In India, she fell in love with an Indian and has also tied the knot with him. Their wedding picture has gone viral on social media. Holding her husband's hand, who wore a sherwani and turban, Rhiannon Harries made a beautiful north-Indian bride.

“When I arrived in India nearly 4 years ago, I had many hopes & dreams for my time here. But never did I imagine I would be meeting & marrying the love of my life,” British diplomat Rhiannon Harries wrote on her Twitter handle. The Britain’s Deputy Trade Commissioner has married Himanshu Pandey who is an independent filmmaker and founder of Godrockfilms. The viral photograph was loved by many, netizens wished the couple a happy married life. Andrew Fleming, Britain’s Deputy High Commissioner in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana said, “Knowing @RhiannonUKGov am sure she will be inviting all the family round for dinner as soon as it is safe."
