BSF announces cash reward of Rs 1 lakh for info on drones
Chandigarh, October 1: In a bid to curb drone activities in the border areas, BSF DIG Prabhakar Joshi announced that people residing near border areas should cooperate with the security forces to put a stop to the drones.
According to Joshi, anyone who gives information about drones will be rewarded Rs 1 lakh and the informer's identity will be kept secret.
Talking to the media, Joshi stated that BSF had put sophisticated anti-drone devices on the Indian border to thwart drone activity. He claimed that the BSF jawans are keeping a close eye on the borders and have thwarted Pakistan's plans by seizing drug consignments that were repeatedly smuggled by Pakistan using drones.

He went on to say that the security forces also confiscated the explosive materials delivered by Pakistan.
He stated that Pakistan has not changed its plans, hence he has urged the residents of the border villages to collaborate with the BSF in order to put an end to such activities.
