Budgam Encounter, J&K: Security Forces neutralize one militant in an encounter
Budgam Encounter, Jammu and Kashmir: In yet another incident, a terrorist has been killed in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, here on Sunday. The incident took place near Chadoora area in Budgam district. The security launched a search operation in Chadoora area of Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir following the information received about the presence of terrorists in the area, the police said. https://twitter.com/ANI/status/1145173634820055040 The incident took place on the Sunday morning when the search operation was underway and the encounter took place when the terrorist opened fire. Hence, the security forces retaliated and knocked down the militant in the area. The police have continued the search operation. This has been the fourth encounter in the past week and the second one in the Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. Also, the Amarnath Yatra 2019 has begun and hence the security in the valley is on its peak. The reason why these encounters are taking place because of the Zero tolerance against these militants.
