Budget 2019: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Future of Swachh Bharat mission

Budget 2019: as Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presents the Budget 2019 of PM Narendra Modi Government 2.0, here on Friday. Nirmala Sitharaman began her speech with the achievements that the government has earned so far. Likewise, there were several things that came out of the red fold aka “Bahi Khata”. Nirmala Sitharaman shared several things on various sectors differentiating urban areas, Rural Areas, Farmers, etc. https://twitter.com/ANI/status/1147028559875252225 Nirmala Sitharaman, while presenting budget 2019 said, "9.6 crore toilets have been constructed since Oct 2, 2014. More than 5.6 lakh villages have become open defecation free. We have to build on this success. I propose to expand the Swachh Bharat mission to undertake sustainable solid waste management in every village". Swachh Bharat mission was launched on 2 October 2014 as a tribute to father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi. It was a massive initiative to clean India. Swachh Bharat is a noble mission and Prime Minister has appealed fellow Indians to devote at least 100 hours every year towards the cause of cleanliness.  Swachh Bharat Mission is a time-bound project to be completed before 2nd Oct 2019.
