Budget 2019: Re 1, Rs 2, Rs 5, Rs 10, Rs 20 coin will be available shortly, says Nirmala Sitharaman, Finance Minister

Budget 2019: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday presented the Union Budget 2019 of PM Narendra Modi's government 2.0. Nirmala Sitharaman being a first full-fledged female Finance Minister presented the budget in a red folded Bahi Khata. Nirmala Sitharaman dropped the maroon briefcase and bring backs the tradition of Bahi Khata.

Nirmala Sitharaman during a Budget speech in Lok Sabha proposed several things in an order to the welfare of citizens. Meanwhile, Nirmala Sitharaman announced that the new series of coins of Re 1, Rs 2, Rs 5, Rs 10, Rs 20 were released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 7, 2019, and hence will be available for public shortly.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said, "A new series of coins of Re 1, Rs 2, Rs 5, Rs 10, Rs 20 easily identifiable to the visually impaired were released by the PM on 7th March 2019. These coins will be made available for public use shortly." Likewise, there were several things for the people among the red-folded Bahi Khata presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

Nirmala Sitharaman before coming to the Parliament went to Rashtrapati Bhawan to meet President Ram Nath Kovind. Also, the Finance Minister first went for a Union Cabinet meeting, where the Budget 2019 was approved.
