Canada:  28-year-old Punjabi youth shot dead in his house The rising incidents of violence in Canada have created a panic and atmosphere of terror in the city. A 28-year-old youth from Jalandhar, in Brampton, was killed in his own house and the entire Punjabi Community living in Canada is grieving over the incident. A 28-year-old Punjabi youth was shot dead on Tuesday morning. The deceased has been identified as Palwinder Singh alias Vicky. He was the resident of National Avenue Rama Mandi (Jalandhar) and was the son of Retired Thanedar Gurmej Singh. Vicky arrived in Canada in 2010 and had also completed his studies and was living in Brampton with his friends. According to the information, when he returned home from work, someone knocked at the door and as soon as he opened the door, he was shot. His friend immediately rushed him to the hospital, but he was declared brought dead. In this case, two accused from Mississauga, Sean Ponto (18) and Andrew Edward (19), have been arrested for the first-degree murder, while the police are still searching for the other 2 accused. -PTC NEWS
