Canadian MP Jagmeet Singh says he's self-isolating due to illness

Burnaby South MP and federal NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh has put himself in self-isolation, amid coronavirus concerns. Jagmeet Singh took to Twitter and wrote: "Friends, I am at home today, feeling unwell. I have been in contact with a doctor and they do not believe I have symptoms consistent with COVID19. But their advice is for me to limit contact with the public until I am feeling better." In another tweet, Jagmeet Singh wrote: "All of us come into contact with many people who may be vulnerable to illness - we have to make sure we are taking measures to limit the chance that we infect them. Looking forward to being back at work and feeling better soon."

Justin Trudeau in self-isolation

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has also put himself in self-isolation after his wife Sophie Trudeau was tested positive for coronavirus. Wishing Sophie Trudeau good health, Jagmeet Singh said in a tweet: "Sending well wishes to Sophie and hoping for a quick recovery. And wishing good health to the PM and their family."

Google's employee diagnosed with COVID 19

Google said in a statement that "We can confirm that an employee from our Bengaluru office (India) has been diagnosed with COVID-19. He was in one of our Bengaluru offices for a few hours before developing any symptoms. The employee has been on quarantine since then."
