Justin Trudeau to visit Jama Masjid after Harmandir Sahib Canada’s PM Justin Trudeau will pay obeisance at Jama Masjid, Delhi during his upcoming visit to India. He will be in India from February 17 to 25 along with some Punjabi-origin federal ministers and MPs. He will be specially visiting Punjab on February 21 to pay obeisance at Harmandir Sahib, Amritsar and will later visit Jama Masjid on February 22. The second advance team of Canadian government will be visiting Amritsar on February 15. publive-image Unofficially, it is learned that Trudeau will reach Delhi on February 17 and visit Taj Mahal next day. He will reach Ahmedabad along with his delegation on February 19 and attend a reception at Taj hotel in Mumbai on February 20. The visit assumes significance in the backdrop of allegations against some of his ministers for their pro-Khalistan leanings which, however, have been denied by concerned ministers. The declarations by these ministers disassociating from the separatist's elements have already been welcomed by Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh. This has prepared a positive atmosphere ahead of Trudeau’s visit. Canada-based Punjabi journalists Jagdish Grewal and Kanwaljit Singh Kanwal and Rajinder Saini from Toronto, Jarnail Basota from Edmonton and Ranjit Sidhu from Calgary are also part of the Canadian PM’s delegation. -PTC News-
