Captain Amarinder Singh accepts cabinet sub-committee report on mining Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh today said that the Cabinet would take a final decision with regard to the recommendations made by the Cabinet Sub-Committee on mining. These views were expressed by the Chief Minister while interacting the media persons during his press conference at Punjab Bhavan this afternoon. Earlier the Local Government Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu handed over the report to the Chief Minister who apprised that recommendations and suggestions made by the Committee would be deliberated upon by the Cabinet meticulously before bringing it in the public domain. The chief Minister reiterated his government’s commitment to bring transparency in the system of mining on one hand and ensuring smooth and seamless supply of sand, gravel etc. to the people at affordable rates. -PTC News
