Captain Amarinder Singh has old association with Reliance Group: Parmbans Singh Romana
Youth Akali Dal President Parmbans Singh Romana Wednesday said that the Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has old association with the Reliance Group and Punjab Congress' Delhi dharna was only a political drama.
Talking to media here, Youth Akali Dal President Parmbans Singh Romana said that Captain Amarinder Singh was all set to hand over panchayat land in all the 12 thousand villages to Reliance group during his earlier stunt as Chief Minister but after SAD came to power in 2007, it stopped the move.

He said that at that time Captain Amarinder Singh had claimed that if the Reliance takes over Panchayat land, income of the Panchayats will increase five fold.

Romana questioned Amarinder on how he is now opposing these companies and the new farm central acts.
He said that Punjab Congress' Delhi dharna was only a drama whereas ground reality it new central laws have been implemented in Punjab through Mandi Board which directly reports to CM.
The YAD leader said that on other hand the SAD always worked for welfare of farmers and citizens of the state. He said that if the Amarinder had sincere towards welfare of farmers, he would have declared whole Punjab a principal market yard by accepting suggestion of the SAD.
He said that two other Congress ruled states Chattisgarh and Rajasthan have declared their whole states as principal market yard which has proved that Amarinder is not doing so on the instance of BJP led Centre Government. He said that CM is ruining peasantry and youth of state with his actions and policies which is most shameful.
