Captain Amarinder Singh to launch his own party and ally 'with BJP, others'

Former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Tuesday announced that he will form his own political party, which is likely to ally with the BJP. He also said that he will reach out to the farmers for the forthcoming Punjab Assembly elections 2022. During an exclusive interview with a news channel, Captain Amarinder Singh hinted that the prolonged farmers’ protest against three farm laws may be heading towards a resolution soon, with the government soon holding talks with farmers' representatives.
