Carjacking attempt at gunpoint in Sector-8 market

A carjacking attempt was made at gunpoint on Monday evening in Panchkula market. The incident took place in Sector 8 in Panchkula around 8:30 pm. The victim Aparna (35) came from Platinum Fitness Gymnasium and Spa in Sector 8. And when she was about to open her i10 grand car a masked man with a gun came there.


The man asked Aparna to hand over her car keys to him at a gunpoint. The masked man even threatened to shoot her if she refused to hand over the keys. But Aparna ran towards the Platinum Fitness Gymnasium. After that, the man also vanished.

Aparna is a housemaker and lives in the Mansa Devi Complex, Panchkula. He husband is working as an advocate.
