CBSE 10th Maths, 12th Economics board exams held due to paper leak
CBSE, Class 10 mathematics and Class 12 economics board exam will be held again over reports of paper leak, as per information received by the Central Board of Secondary Education on Wednesday.
The board also said that the dates of retest will be announced on the website within 7 days.
“The Board has taken cognizance of certain happenings in the conduct of certain examinations as are being reported. With the view to upholding the sanctity of the Board examinations and in the interest of the fairness to the students, the Board has decided to reconduct the examinations in the subjects,” a CBSE said in a statement.
Class 10 mathematics paper was held on Wednesday while the Class 12 Economics paper was held on March 26.
CBSE had on Monday denied that the economics paper of Class 12 was leaked on social media ahead of the exam.
