Celebrate martyrdom day of Guru Tegh bahadur ji as sacrifice day in country, Prof Chandumajra raises issue in Lok Sabha
Punjab Member of Parliament Prof Prem Singh Chandumajra on Wednesday in parliament urged to celebrate martyrdom day of Guru Tegh bahadur ji as sacrifice day throughout the country. Chandumajra urged to imbibe the spirit of self-sacrifice preached and practised by Guru Teg Bahadur Ji.
He said guru's supreme sacrifice as protector of the dharma was unparalleled in the history of mankind and stands out as an example for humanity.
"The bani of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur ji, preaches the message of oneness of mankind, universal brotherhood, righteousness, valour and compassion, which need to be followed by one and all," Prof Prem Singh Chandumajra said.
