Centre again invites Punjab farmers for talks 

The Central Government has once again invited the farmer bodies to Delhi on December 3 for another round of meeting to resolve differences over the new agriculture laws. Also Read | Sukhbir Singh Badal asks SAD Delhi and DSGMC to extend help to farmer orgs In this regard, former Union Minister Vijay Sampla tweeted "the Central Government has invited the farmers' organizations for a meeting on December 3, I hope it will yield good results." The meeting will be held at Vigyan Bhawan, Delhi. The Centre has sent the above letter to the farmers. The Food Secretary Sudhanshu Pandey has also sent the invitation to the farmer bodies on behalf of Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh TomarFood Minister Piyush Goyal is also expected to be present in the meeting. It may be recalled that earlier the Central Government had called a farmers' meeting on November 13. The meeting between the Union Agriculture Minister and the Railway Minister with the farmers' leaders in Delhi on the Union Agriculture Laws did not yield any tangible results.
