Chakka Jam: Protestors detained by police in Karnataka
Karnataka Chakka Jam: In an order to intensify farmers' protest against farm laws 2020, the Samyukta Kisan Morcha called for chakka jam in India on February 6.
The farmers' call for nationwide road blockade received overwhelming support from across the nation.

Meanwhile, the Bengaluru police has detained the protesters who were agitating outside Yelahanka Police Station against the farm laws 2020 as part of the 'chakka jam' called by farmers.
Besides Chakka Jam in Karnataka, the farmer organisations in Jammu extended support to the nationwide road blockade called by farmers. In Jammu, farmers staged a protest on the Jammu-Pathankot highway.

A protestor said that "We appeal to the govt to repeal these laws. We support the farmers protesting on the borders of Delhi." Protesters blocked the national highway near the Shahjahanpur border (Rajasthan-Haryana). Roads in Amritsar and Mohali, Palwal were blocked.
Protesters have blocked national highways, roads, streets in a protest against the farm laws 2020.
Heavy security has been deployed at strategic locations in the national capital such as Road number 56, NH-24, Vikas Marg, GT Road, Jirabad Road in the wake of nationwide 'chakka-jam'.
Likewise, barricading has been done to avoid any intrusion in Delhi, Alok Kumar, Joint CP, Delhi Police said.
