Chandigarh on 5th, Delhi on 65th on the list of best Indian cities to live in!
On the government’s inaugural ‘Ease of Living Index’, where the national capital came at 65th place out of total 111 cities, Chandigarh was ranked on number fifth! The ‘Ease of Living Index’, the first-ever exercise undertaken by the Union Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry, ranked the country’s major cities on the basis of four parameters -- governance, social, economic and physical infrastructure. Wherein, Pune was on number 1, followed by Navi Mumbai on 2nd, Greater Mumbai on 3rd, Tirupati on 4th and Chandigarh on number 5th!
