Chandigarh Child Murder Case: In a startling disclosure, the woman who killed her two-and-a-half-year-old son on Monday, had allegedly killed her six-months-old daughter, in December last year. Her husband revealed that their daughter was buried after they found her dead in the morning. Six-months-old child slept after consuming milk and didn’t wake up, he revealed.
The deceased has been identified as Komal, while the two-and-a-half-year-old son has been identified as Divyanshu. The woman and her husband have been identified as Roopa and Dasharath, respectively. The body of the deceased daughter was taken out for an autopsy. According to the information, Roopa killed her two-and-a-half-year-old boy by stuffing a glove in his mouth and storing him in a bed box at her house in Burail, Sector 45.

The police has arrested Roopa and has registered a case of murder against her at the Sector 34 police station. On January 25, when Dasharath returned home after work, he found both his wife and son Divyanshu missing.
The next day, when Dasharath was taking out a blanket from the bed box in the evening, he found his son lying in it, with a glove stuffed in his mouth. He pulled the child immediately and rushed to his friend’s shop at Burail. They rushed the child to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Sector 32, where he was declared brought dead.
