Chandigarh Child Murder Case: Mother had killed her daughter too

Chandigarh Child Murder Case: Investigation by UT cops have revealed that the woman arrested for murdering her two-and-a-half-year-old son had murdered her six-month-old daughter too. The police had taken out the infant’s body on Wednesday after which a post-mortem was conducted, which revealed that the victim had died after her neck bone was broken. Meanwhile, the police have now added Section 201 (disappearing evidence of offence or giving false information to screen offender) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) to the murder case registered against Roopa at the Sector 34 police station. The six-month-old daughter was identified as Komal, who had died under mysterious circumstances on December 21. Roopa's husban Dasharath had said that he had gone to work and later his wife told him that Komal had slept after drinking milk, but did not wake up. They (Roopa and Dasharath) had taken Komal to a hospital in Burail where she was declared brought dead. Afterwards, she was burried in Sector 25. https://www.ptcnews.tv/chandigarh-murder-case-mother-killed-son-found-dead-in-bed-box-en/ Roopa's crime came under scanner after her son was found lying dead in a bed box with glove stuffed in his mouth at the house in Burail, Sector 45, on January 26. According to the information, Dasharath was taking out a blanket from the bed when he found his son lying in it. Roopa was arrested in a murder case. As per reports, Roopa was not happy with the marriage and there were differences between the couple, which led to the crime. -PTC News
