Chandigarh COVID19 Update: Active cases spike to 593
The total number of coronavirus cases in Chandigarh have increased to 14528 after 55 new cases of COVID-19 were reported.

Amongst the new cases, 34 are male cases and 21 are female cases.
According to the media bulletin issued by the Chandigarh Health Department, Active cases in Chandigarh have spiked to 593 cases.
An 87 year old male R/o Sector 40, who had tested COVID positive, expired at Mayo Hospital, Mohali. He was having co-morbid conditions of Hypertension and Asthma.

A total of 76 patients have been discharged including persons from home isolation who have completed 10 days and are asymptomatic as per MoHFW guidelines.
