Chandigarh: Doctor booked for sexually harassing two female colleagues

Chandigarh: A senior doctor at the Government medical College and Hospital, Sector 32, has been booked for sexually harassing two female colleagues. The accused has been identified as Dr Aniket Saini, 31, who is a senior resident with the hospital's medicine department. Dr Saini has been alleged to have entered the medicine OPD in a drunk state, where two women were on duty, on December 6. Meanwhile, Dr Saini obstructed the doctors from working, and dragged one of them from the ICU to the duty room. Also, he hit the other female doctor and one Dr Aman Garg. He broke a bowl kept in the room. Allegedly, he held the arm of one of the female doctors and was abusing all three of them. Meanwhile, Dr Saini's misbehaviour has left the colleagues scared and disturbed. The two female doctors (victims) have reported the incident to the college director-cum-principal Dr BS Chavan the same day. To this, Dr Chavan ordered an internal inquiry, which supported the victim's complaint. https://www.ptcnews.tv/panchkula-zomato-delivery-boy-killed-in-hit-and-run/ The hospital authorities forwarded the complaint to the Sector 34 police station.
