Chandigarh: E-sanjeevani OPD services in GMCH-32
In order to provide top-notch medical services to the people of Chandigarh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and Punjab, a free consultation service, e-sanjeevani, is being encouraged by GMCH-32, Chandigarh.
The National Teleconsultation Service of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare is the first of its kind online OPD service offered by the government to its citizens. It aims to provide quality healthcare services to patients in their homes. The service enables safe and structured video-based clinical consultations between a doctor in a hospital and a patient in the confines of his home are being enabled.
For consulting the medical experts of Government Medical College and Hospital Sector-32, a person needs to log onto www.esanjeevaniopd.in and click on the patient login and enter a mobile number. Thereafter, an OTP would be sent to the registered number.
Upon entering the OTP, the details of the patient need to be entered. Then after choosing the speciality from amongst the 6 medical specialities such as Dermatology, Ophthalmology, E.N.T., Orthopedics, Psychiatry, and Dental, the details would have to be submitted.

Then, a token number would be sent to the registered number which would have to be entered and in the aftermath of that, the concerned patient would get a call. A person needs a laptop/desktop with webcam, mic and speakers & internet having 2 Mbps speed or download the 'esanjeevaniOPD' app from the Google play store and login.
