Chandigarh : Head constable dies in road accident
A police official posted in Chandigarh Police was killed in a road accident on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Gurwinder Singh.He was posted as Head Constable in Chandigarh Police.
He was coming to his native village Rani Majra in Kharar from his duty but when he reached near Singhpura village, the tractor-trailer hit his bike.
Gurwinder Singh was taken to a civil hospital where doctors declared her brought dead. Gurwinder is survived by his wife and two children. His son is studying in Canada.
Meanwhile, police has registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against tractor driver.
