Chandigarh: Man dies, brother hurt as tree falls on them in Sec 10 A 35-year-old man was killed and his younger brother was left injured after a tree fell on them while they were riding a motorcycle in Sector 10 on Monday. The victims, Dinesh Singh and Ramesh Singh, employees at a cloth store in Sector 17, were on their way to work at 9.45 am when the tree fell on them. Passersby gathered at the spot and informed the police about the incident after which Dinesh, who suffered a serious head injury, was taken to the PGI, where doctors declared him brought dead. The police have initiated an investigation into the matter. A DDR has been lodged at the Sector 3 police station.
