Two newlyborn girls found dead in Chandigarh
In a heart-wrenching incident, bodies of two newlyborn girls were found at two different places in Chandigarh on Wednesday. According to the information, first case has been reported from Sector 56, where the body of a newlyborn girl was found floating in a gutter.
In the second case reported from the sector 34, the dead body of a newlyborn girl was found dumped in a garbage. Meanwhile, the police has started an investigation by registering an FIR in both the cases.
The police has taken the bodies of the girls and sent them to a hospital for post-mortem examination. The police also stated that the autopsy can only reveal the reasons for death of the newlyborn girls. Meanwhile, the police have started questioning residents of the neighbouring areas.

This was the fourth case of violence against children in the city. Earlier, a man murdered his own wife and two kids and later committed suicide in Manimajra. Meanwhile, a woman killed her own son and daughter in Burail. Recently, a man killed his wife with an axe in Mariwala town, Manimajra.
