Chandigarh: ASI Bhupinder Singh, who sings to create awareness, tests positive for coronavirus
The Assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Bhupinder Singh of Chandigarh Police, who has been warning people about the pandemic, has now tested positive for the novel coronavirus. According to the information, he has been admitted to Government Multi-Specialty Hospital, Sector 16. As per the report, Bhupinder had shown some mild symptoms following which he was tested for the contagion disease on August 3. Meanwhile, his report returned positive. The ASI had carried out an intensive awareness campaign to aware people of the novel coronavirus in the city. ASI Bhupinder Singh of Chandigarh Police has been sensitising people about several issues re-writing Punjabi songs. Earlier in 2019, Bhupinder Singh sang Punjabi songs to aware people about the hike in fine for violating traffic rules. Meanwhile, Chandigarh on Wednesday reported the highest single-day spike of 64 corona cases. The city today reported 64 fresh cases of COVID-19.
