In view of the anticipated heavy traffic movement during this festive season, citizens are requested to adopt the following measures until Diwali:
- Please try to walk to nearby markets, nearby destinations, etc. rather than using a motor vehicle.
- Please plan your day in such a manner that, whenever possible, travelling is done during non-peak hours, so that traffic presence on the roads and parking is staggered out.
- Car pooling may be considered.
- Use face mask and maintain social distancing.
- Please ensure vehicles are efficiently parked in the designated parking lots not consuming more space than necessary.
- People are advised not to park their vehicles in ‘No Parking’ Zones/Roads; otherwise, such vehicles shall be towed away/clamped.
- People are advised not to park/ply their vehicles on cycle track/pedestrian pathways.
