In a major move in the viral video case, Judge Amarjit Singh granted bail to Charanjit Singh Chadha in Amritsar District Court on Thursday. A school principal, who was purportedly seen in a video with Chief Khalsa Diwan (CKD) president Charanjit Singh Chadha, had accused him of sexual harassment. A case was registered against the former president of Chief Khalsa Diwan Charanjeet Singh Chadha on the complaint of a victim. She accused Chadha of making sexual advances. “He tried to do indecent acts with me. When I refused, he threatened me, citing his proximity to the powers that be during the SAD-BJP rule,” she wrote. He said he had already lodged a complaint with the police that some blackmailers were trying to extort Rs 1 crore from him. Charanjit Singh Chadha was also removed as the vice-president of Khalsa College Governing Council (KCGC) that manages the historical College here. Inderpreet Singh, son of former Chief Khalsa Diwan (CKD) president Charanjit Singh Chadha, who had been booked for sexually harassing a woman principal, allegedly shot himself dead with his licensed weapon. He explained everything in detail about how he was made a target of a conspiracy to collect money from his father. On Sunday, Charanjit Singh Chadha’s son Inderpreet Singh Chadha had shot himself.
