I can become Chief Minister 'in a minute', says BJP MP Hema Malini BJP MP Hema Malini on Thursday said that she could become a Chief Minister if she wishes to, in a 'minute'. "Main banachahoon toh ek minute main ban sakti hoon (I can become Chief Minister in a minute if I wish to), but I don't like to be tied up. Mere jo free movements hain wo ruk jayenge (My freedom will get affected): BJP's Hema Malini on being asked if she wants to be the CM," she said. "I am not too keen, the BJP MP from Mathura in Uttar Pradesh told reporters in Rajasthan's Banswara city- news agency PTI reported. "If I want to I can become that in a minute, but I don't like to be tied up. My freedom of movement will end," she said. Malini added that she became the Member of Parliament because of her career as an actor. "I am known mainly because of my name in Bollywood, call it 'dream girl' or Hema Malini," she said. Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying "he has worked for farmers, women and the poor, and the country had progressed under his leadership", she added, "It is difficult to find a Prime Minister like him.
