Christmas 2019: While the festival commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ has come, the elephants were dressed up as Santa to give gifts and candies to children as a tradition in Thailand. Christmas celebration has been running for 15 years at Jirasartwitthaya kindergarten school in Ayutthaya, Thailand. For Christmas 2019, four tuskers and their mahouts wearing Santa caps were seen giving presents to the students, Lardthongtare Meepan, owner of the Ayutthaya Elephant Palace, an elephant camp, said. In fact, the elephants were dancing and showing their tricks to the children.
