Mohlan (Sri Muktsar Sahib), October 10- The Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal today dared the Delhi Chief Minister Mr. Arvind Kejriwal and the entire leadership of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to list their single contribution for the country in general and for the state in particular.   Interacting with the media persons during the sidelines of Sangat Darshan program in Lambi assembly segment here today, the Chief Minister said that AAP was just a party of hollow slogans and false promises adding that this party neither has any glorious track record nor any achievement for the public welfare or for the service of the country and state. He said that it was on record that AAP was just a ‘bunch of opportunists and defectors’ who have left one party or another to acquire power so nothing good for the state and its people could be expected from these people. Mr. Badal said that the sole aim of these people was just to vest political power in the state.   The Chief Minister said that Mr. Kejriwal was not even aware of the basics of Agriculture and village life of the state. He said that a state where majority of population resides in the villages could not be run by a party whose leaders were not acquainted to the problems faced by the people residing in them. Mr. Badal said that the Delhi Chief Minister and other AAP leadership was also ignorant about the basic topography of the state.   The Chief Minister said that Mr. Kejriwal was suffering from anti-Punjab mindset and the stand taken by his government on the issue of Satluj Yamuna Link Canal in Apex court was a reflection of it. He said that affidavit by Delhi government headed by AAP in Supreme Court termed Punjab’s stand on issue as unconstitutional and anti - national. Mr. Badal said that as Delhi Chief Minister hailed from Haryana so he was naturally inclined towards safeguarding the interests of his state and wanted to snatch the waters of Punjab to benefit his own state.   The Chief Minister exhorted the people to adopt a cautious approach while casting their vote as their verdict could make or mar the future of the state. Drawing comparison between pro-people SAD-BJP alliance government and anti-people AAP government in Delhi, he said that while on one hand Delhi government headed by Mr. Arvind Kejriwal has done nothing for weaker and underprivileged sections of society but on the other hand SAD-BJP alliance government in the state has taken several pro - poor initiatives like Atta-Dal, pension, shagun, Bhagat Puran Singh Sehat Beema Yojna, Mai Bhago Vidya Scheme and others to safeguard the interests of poor and needy.   Earlier addressing the public gatherings in village Kattianwali, Karmpatti, Ratta Tibba, Mohlan, Rani Wala and others, the Chief Minister, while making a scathing attack on state Congress Chief Captain Amarinder Singh, said that the Lok Sabha MP from Amritsar has a proven anti-farmer and anti poor track record. Citing the examples, he said that on one hand SAD-BJP alliance had been providing free power to farmers but on the other during his regime Amarinder had discontinued this thereby putting enormous burden on farmers. Likewise, Mr. Badal said that the state Congress Chief was a part and parcel of the conspiracy to rob waters of state by constructing Satluj Yamuna Link canal. He further said that during his tenure as Chief Minister Captain never initiated any scheme for the welfare of poor strata of society.   Highlighting the significance of Sangat Darshans, the Chief Minister said that it was the flagship program of SAD-BJP alliance government aimed at ensuring the well being of every strata of society. He said that this was a pro-people exercise being conducted thoroughly in a transparent manner. However, Mr. Badal said that envy of development and welfare of people the Congress leaders have always opposed this move.   The Chief Minister was accompanied by Chairman Punjab Agro Jathedar Dyal Singh Kolianwali, Member Punjab State Women Commission Mrs. Veerpal Kaur Tarmala, his Special Principal Secretary Mr. KJS Cheema, Deputy Commissioner Mr. Sumit Jaranghal and Senior Superintendent of Police Mr. Gurpreet Singh.-
