CM To Unfurl National Flag At Ludhiana On Independence Day Chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh will unfurl the national flag in Ludhiana on the occasion of 72nd Independence Day on August 15. Disclosing this here today, a spokesperson of the Chief Minister’s Office said that Captain Amarinder has also deputed his Cabinet colleagues to preside over the Independence Day celebrations at various district headquarters. The state-level Independence Day celebrations would be held in Guru Nanak Stadium. During a review meeting of the preparations, Deputy Commissioner Mr Pardeep Kumar Agrawal informed that the rehearsals for the Independence Day function would be held on August 8, 9, 10 & 11, 2018 at Guru Nanak Stadium, while the full and final dress rehearsal would be held on August 13, 2018. -PTC NEWS
