Cold conditions persist in Punjab and Haryana

Chandigarh, Feb 14 (PTI) Cold weather conditions persisted at many places in Punjab and Haryana, where the minimum temperature hovered below normal limits.
Amritsar reeled under severe chill at a low of 4.4 degrees Celsius, two notches below normal.
Ludhiana and Patiala recorded identical minimum temperatures of 8.2 degrees Celsius, both below normal.

Chandigarh recorded a minimum temperature of 7.6 degrees Celsius, according to the MeT Department report.

Hisar and Narnaul in Haryana too saw cold nights with minimum temperatures below normal at 6.8 degrees Celsius and 6.4 degrees Celsius respectively.

Ambala’s minimum however, settled a degree above normal at 10.2 degrees Celsius.
